
Ms Célia Gavaud has 19 years’ experience of securing international public funding for Research and Innovation projects. Having started at the end of FP5, Célia has written or supported the writing of well over 150 proposals and coordinated more than 15 funded projects. Célia has been a reviewer of Marie Skłodowska Curie fellowship and staff exchange and Twinning proposals since 2016. Célia regularly shares her knowledge of grant funded innovation projects with practitioners in universities and industry players through training and coaching; she has facilitated in excess of 350 training courses across the EU and beyond (incl. Norway, UK, Russia, Taiwan, Iran).
With institutional partners such as sectorial clusters – including the Agrifood and the Innovate (digital) Clust-ERs in Emilia-Romagna, Italy - or the Tunisian Ministry of Research, she acts as an expert for the development of international partnerships, in particular through EU programmes.
Célia holds two Masters’ degrees (Hons) in Management of European Programmes & Policies from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France (2002) and in International Policy and Diplomacy from Staffordshire University, UK (2011). She also graduated with a Public Affairs Diploma (NQF Level 7) by the UK Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Célia is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®).
